How will the Affordable Care Act (ACA) affect my business? How will it financially affect my family? To answer these questions and others, Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) will lead two discussions focusing on the financial implications of the ACA as a part of the St. Louis region’s participation in the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Money Smart Week® (April 20-27). Money Smart Week® is a public awareness campaign created by the Federal Reserve aimed at helping consumers better manage their finances. In the St. Louis area, MFH, University of Missouri Extension and other community organizations have joined together to host and organize various educational sessions around the topic of financial planning. In these sessions, St. Louis community residents can further understand and discuss the financial impact of the changing health care system – as well as the implications at the individual, family and business levels. Sessions are open to the public and free to attend. For more on local classes and programs during the Money Smart Week®, visit http://extension.missouri.edu/stcharles.
