Sacred Heart School plans open house

In honor of Catholic Schools Week, Sacred Heart Catholic School in Troy will host an open house starting at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27 at the school, 110 Thompson Drive. Families with children entering preschool through eighth grade are invited to tour the school and talk with students and faculty.

Special recognition event will be held during the morning mass at 10:30 a.m.

Sister Jeannette Fennewald, the school principal, will give a presentation at 11:20 a.m. in the school cafeteria about Sacred Heart’s academic programs, faith-based curriculum and its facilities. This year marked the opening of a $3-million addition, which included a new preschool for 3- to 5-year-olds as well as a gymnasium.

Sacred Heart School has a long history in Lincoln County. It opened its doors in 1944 and continues to serve the educational and spiritual needs of the students of today. For further information, please call the Sacred Heart School office at 636-528-6684.
