Charles (Punky) Walton, 51, of Silex passed away Jan. 25, 2013 at the Troy Manor.
Memorial services for Walton will be held Saturday Feb. 2, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Troy First Baptist Church 1000 Elm Tree Rd. Troy. Walton was born Sept. 30, 1961, the son of Albert Edward and Shirley Rose Koster Walton.
Survivors include his mother Shirley; three daughters, Krystal Lafferty and husband, Jared, of Troy, Angela Walton, of Hollywood, Calif., and Nina Walton, of Wentzville; one brother, Rusty Walton, of Silex; one grandchild, Jaden Lafferty.
Walton grew up in Silex and graduated from the Silex School.
Everyone knew him as “Punky”. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Silex and was a proud member of the Free Masons. He achieved the high order of the 32nd degree through the Scottish Rite chapter of the Free Masons. He enjoyed traveling – Thailand being his favorite destination. He also enjoyed collecting cars and coins.
Cremations rites were conducted by the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home.
