First Assembly youth to wrap Christmas presents to raise funds

Tis the season to be jolly for sure. But one of those things that makes a lot of people lose their Christmas spirit is the wrapping of presents. Nobody likes to wrap presents after a long day of work or shopping. Let Elevate Student Ministries, the youth ministry group of the First Assembly of God Church in Troy help put some extra joy in your Christmas season.

During the month of December the youth group will wrap all of your Christmas presents for a donation towards their ministry. The youth groups of the church have wrapped presents for years and leaders and students would love an opportunity to be a part of making 2011 your best Christmas season ever. People trained to wrap presents for major store chains will be there to make sure the gifts for your special loved ones get handled in the best way possible. There is no set fee or minimum donation required. All proceeds will help students attend camps, go on mission trips and various other youth activities.

Christmas wrapping will be held Tuesday, Dec. 13, 5-8 p.m.; Dec. 17, 5-8 p.m.; Dec. 19, 5-8 p.m. and Dec. 23, 6-8 p.m. All gift wrapping sessions will be held in the church fellowship hall located at 432 South Lincoln Drive in Troy.

This is a wonderful opportunity to invest in lives of students living and going to schools in the community while taking one more thing off of your holiday to-do list. If you have any questions, contact Pastor David Fields at 636-528-4000 or visit www.troyag.com
