Two people were injured in separate accidents in Lincoln County, according to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
On March 1, Tori Towery, 24, of St. Charles, was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 79 at the Cuivre River Bridge at 7:20 a.m. She was driving a 1998 Toyota Rav4 when she lost control of the vehicle, cross over the center line and struck a 2006 Dodge Ram driven by Stacy Martin, 39, of Old Monroe. Both drivers were using their seat belts.
Towery was taken by county ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis.
In a separate accident on March 5, Crystal Luckett, 24, of Hawk Point, suffered minor injuries at Hwy. 47 north of Prairie View Road at 7:55 p.m.
Luckett was driving a 1999 Dodge Caravan when she lost control, traveled off the right side of roadway, struck a road sign and came to rest down an embankment. She was using her seat belt. She was taken by Warren County ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West for treatment.
Two drivers suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash March 6 on Hwy. 61 at Himmel Road. Time of the accident was 7:48 a.m.
According to the report, a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Geralmene Klemites, 65, of Moscow Mills, attempted to cross Highway 61 pulling into the path of a 1999 Toyota Camry driven by Cheryl Burkemper, 36, also of Moscow Mills. Klemites was not using her seat belt while Burkemper was strapped in at the time of the crash. Both were taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West for treatment.
