Patricia R. Amey, 62, of Moscow Mills, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1950, in San Francisco, Calif. to Jack and Agnus (Schinabarger) Hultman. Patricia grew up with her two brothers: Steven and Jack. She met and later married Charles Amey. They were blessed with two daughters: Carrie and Colleen.
Patricia was a loving wife and devoted mother to her children. They were her first priority in life. Baking cakes for special holidays and for family gatherings was what she enjoyed doing. In past years, she had a special dog named “Tiger” who loved Pat dearly. In 1995, Pat moved her daughters to Troy. She had a deep belief in God and was a very special person.
Surviving are her loving daughters and husbands: Colleen (William) Roesener, of Troy, Carrie (Richard) Wing of Middletown and her son, Brian Amey of California; her mother, Agnus Smith of Windsor, Calif.; her six loving grandchildren: Steven, Ashley, David, Cyierra, Nikki, John and her five adoring great-grandchildren: Lexis, Landon, Kalob, Ryan and Bradyn; other relatives and friends.
Visitation to be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Ctr, Troy location.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Center, 1304 Boone St., Troy. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Rhea and Rev. Darrell Alley.Interment will follow in the Troy City Cemetery, Troy. Memorial gifts may be made to the funeral home.

Peter “Pete” Wallace, 92, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at his residence in Troy.
Pete was born on July 13, 1920, in Malden, to Frank and Wincie (Lockhart) Wallace. He attended the local schools with his brothers and sisters: Ethel, Franklin, Francis, Carl, Lizzie, Robert, Mancel, Edward, Ella, Velma, Eva Lorene and Orville.
Pete enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a 5th grade technician 332nd Bomb Squadron 94th Bomber Group. After his honorable discharge, he met and later married wonderful woman, Doris Shutts. Pete and Doris were blessed with three children: Rick, Debbie and Tina.
Peter was an auto worker with General Motors for 22 years. After his retirement, he kept himself busy painting houses all over Lincoln County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church inTroy and a proud member of UAW. Pete was a kind, loving person who touched the lives of everyone he met.
Peter is survived by his loving family; His beloved wife, Doris, of Troy; his son, Rick Wallace, of Harrisburg, Penn.; two daughters, Debbie Mackenberg, of St. Peters, Tina and husband, Timothy Croghan, of O’Fallon; one sister, Eva Lorene Bowling, of Peveley; three grandchildren, Chris Mackenberg, of O’Fallon, Jamie Mackenberg, of St. Charles and Joseph Heitman, of New York City, N.y.; one great-grandchild, Malik, many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 17, 2013 frm 2-6 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1304 Boone St., Troy. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Troy. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
