Hammack Chief Master Sergeant in U.S. Air Force

Mark A. Hammack has been promoted to the rank of chief master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

Hammack is an operations branch manager assigned to the 21st Space Wing at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. The new chief master sergeant has served in the military for 24 years.

He is the son of Dennis and Linda Hammack, of Riverview Drive, Elsberry. He is the father of Dennis Hammack, of Riverview Drive, Elsberry, and Mason Hammack, of Terra Vista Lane, Colo.

Hammack graduated in 1988 from Elsberry High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2002 from Wayland Baptist University, San Antonio, Texas. He earned a Master of Arts degree in 2005 from Webster University, St. Louis, Mo.
