Bellringers still needed for Salvation Army

Russ Weltmer, Lincoln County chair for the Salvation Army, called Thursday, saying the bellringer campaign in Lincoln County for the Salvation Army has reached the $30,000 level. However, to meet the goal of $50,000 through Christmas Eve, there are many openings for volunteers to ring the bell.  Here is the tentative schedule for openings where volunteers can help make the difference:

Dec. 19: Walgreens- 8-9 am and 1-8 pm.

Dec. 20: Walgreens 8-9 am and 6-8 pm.; Wal-Mart East, 8-9 am; Wal-Mart West , 3-5 pm.

Dec. 21: Walgreens, 11 am-1 pm, 4-6 pm and 7-8 pm.;

Wal-Mart East, 8-9 am, 10-11 am, 12-4 pm and 5-6 pm.

Wal-Mart West- 8-10 am, noon-4 pm.

Dec. 23

Walgreens, Noon- 6 pm

Wal-Mart West , 8-9 am, 1-6 pm

Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve):

Walgreens, 8 am-3 pm.

Wal-Mart East- 2-3 pm

Wal-Mart West, Noon 3 pm
