Beck elected to state judge association

Jim Beck, Associate Circuit Judge for Lincoln County, was recently elected to serve as a board member for the Missouri Association of Probate and Associate Circuit Judges at the 98th annual meeting and conference. MAPACJ consists of probate and associate circuit judges, as well as family and probate commissioners from across the state. The purpose of the organization is to promote the welfare and mutual issues and concerns of judges and commissioners. The continuing education of all judges and commissioners is vital and necessary to keep up with judicial system and keep them current on changes in the law. Judge Beck is excited that this allows him to work on directly on legislation that addresses issues concerning Missouri citizens within the circuit court. Judge Beck has served as Associate Circuit Judge of Lincoln County since January of 2011.
