Patrol reports residents Injured in accidents
The Missouri State Highway Patrol filed accident statements on three accidents involving Lincoln County residents.
Ashley Murphy, 17, of Troy, suffered moderate injuries when the car she was driving (2002 Mazda Tribute) traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned in Jefferson County at 7 p.m. on Hwy. FF north of Twin Oaks Drive. She was taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur. She was using a seat belt at the time of the accident.
In a separate accident, Erin Querheim, 30, of St. Charles suffered minor injuries in a two-car accident April 20 on Route KK at Keithley Road at 7:12 p.m.
According to the report, Querheim was sitting stationary in a 2007 Ford Taurus on the shoulder of the roadway and while attempting to turn left from the shoulder, crossed into the path of a 1999 Ford F250 driven by Lynn Ludwig, 51, of Troy.
Querheim was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph West Medical Center in Lake Saint Louis. Both drivers were using seat belts.
On April 22 at 7:20 a.m. on Rt. 79 at M in St. Charles County, Angelina Smith, 20, suffered minor injuries. She was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West.
According to the statement, Smith was driving south in a 2006 Ford Taurus as was a 2006 Ford F150 driven by Scott Zimmerman, 41, of Elsberry. Zimmerman slowed for traffic and his vehicle was struck by the Taurus. Both drivers were using seat belts.
