Henderson to represent small schools on state association

Elaine Henderson, Superintendent of Silex R-1 School District, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Missouri Association of School Business Officials (MoASBO). Henderson has been a member of MoASBO for five years. She was named as their small school representative to the board of directors.

MoASBO was designed to establish high standards of ethics and efficiency in business methods and practices as related to the administration and operation of the public school in the State of Missouri. Also, it was developed to study, analyze and disseminate the most efficient methods and practices in all matters pertaining to school business administration and to make comprehensive and progressive study of the school business profession. MoASBO also recommends standards of practice for the school business official.

Henderson has worked in the Silex, Elsberry, Winfield, Troy and Wright City school districts. Henderson has been the Superintendent of Silex for the past five years. “I am thrilled to serve and represent small schools in this position.” said Henderson.
