“Dig into READING” at the Powell Library

Making this summer extra special for your children is as easy as a visit to the Powell Memorial Library.

Reading is recognized as one of the most important contributing factors to a child’s success in school. Good readers become good students. And children who are read to regularly at an early age generally become better readers and develop a love of books and reading. Children and their families can explore new world and have fun at the library this summer!

“Dig into READING” summer reading program will be offered at Powell Memorial Library beginning June 10 and continuing until July 20.

All children in grades Kindergarten through eighth grade are encouraged to take part in “Dig into READING” summer program.
