The Spot Light Stars team is at it again and they bring you the only summer performing arts camp this summer: The Elves and the Shoemaker. Join Courtni Aries, Brandon Banks, Ellen Richards, and Sandy Turpin once again as they brighten the Bonfils Auditorium stage with lights and the smiles of children alike.
Spot Light Stars’ summer camp of The Elves and the Shoemaker will run June 17-21, with performances on June 22 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. During the camp, students will receive their script, a camp t-shirt, lunches provided, snack and drink, and many more goodies.
The registered students will audition on Monday, and by the end of the day on Monday the students will know their part, and have a script in hand to start learning their parts. Tuesday will start the rehearsal of the show, teaching the students, characterization and movement on the stage. By Friday, the children are going to be giving it their all, doing dress rehearsal, with full costumes, props, set, and no script, all to get ready to perform for the public on Saturday, June 22 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Bonfils Auditorium.
Spot Light Stars has released the registration form and flyer on their website, Facebook pages, and through email. If you are interested make sure that you get registered by June 10. After June 10, you are no longer guaranteed a spot or your camp t-shirt.
