PALS Pet of the Week

Jones is a sweet Labrador Retriever, born about 12/12/05 – at 7 yrs. old, some might consider him a senior dog…don’t tell Jones that! You see, he was found running down a major highway with his best friend, Bernard (another great dog we have available for adoption). Thankfully, a motorist pulled over, opened the car door – and 2 big dogs came rushing in!!! No trace of owners were ever found. Jones quickly acclimated to our shelter, and he was happy to still have his Bernard by his side. He loves kids (adults, too), gives kisses, loves hugs and belly rubs, is very affectionate, crate trained, loves being with people – loves it! Oh, and he likes to sit on your lap – too funny!!! He’s 65 lbs – now that is called a “lap warmer”! Jones seems to know simple commands, such as “sit” and “stay”. Our $150 adoption fee includes a comprehensive veterinary care package, and lots of love from our volunteers. You can view Jones and all our pets online at www.PALS-PETS.com. We have a large assortment of wonderful dogs and cats from which to choose. Please stop by the shelter and give a great companion a loving home. Check out our website for all our upcoming fundraisers and events. We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter so your support is greatly needed and appreciated so that we may continue to help the animals. For more information on adopting Jones, or any PALS pet, donating, or volunteering, please call the shelter at 636-338-1818.
