Woman charged with felony harassment
A Winfield woman has been charged with one count of felony harassment against persons age 17 and under.

Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney filed those charges after the arrest of Lynn Marie Herzog, 50, Sunday morning.
According to court records, two deputies were dispatched to McClay Road in reference to multiple calls of a disturbance. They made contact with the complainant who advised the officers that she was inside her residence when she heard Herzog yelling at her children and making loud noises from across the street. Her son came inside and said Herzog was yelling at them. The complainant went outside and yelled for Herzog to stop and leave the kids alone. When two boys went walking up the road and their backs were toward Herzog, she allegedly began walking towards them with a chain saw and wearing a ski masks to scare them. The complainant she did not believe the boys to be in any danger.. However there are ongoing issues with Herzog repeatedly harassing her and her family.
The complainant also advised that Herzog had taken photos Friday morning and again on Sunday of her 15-year-old daughter. It should be noted, the court papers said, that the girl was clothed at the time and Herzog was standing on her own property.
Herzog was arrested and taken to the Lincoln County Jail. Bail was set at $10,000.
Those charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
