PSC to hold local public hearing in Troy in water/sewer rate cases

The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing in Troy on Aug. 20, 2013, in water and sewer rate cases filed by Lincoln County Sewer and Water, LLC. The local public hearing schedule appears below.

August 20—Troy. Troy City Hall, Board of Aldermen Meeting Room, 800 Cap Au Gris Street. A question and answer information session will begin at 6 p.m. The Commission will take sworn testimony from customers at the conclusion of the session.

On Dec. 4, 2012, Lincoln County Sewer and Water, LLC filed water and sewer rate cases with the Missouri Public Service Commission. Lincoln County Sewer and Water, LLC seeks to increase annual sewer operating revenues by approximately $13,382 and annual water operating revenues by approximately $7,569.

The request is for the unmetered flat rate for residential customers be raised from $26.72 to $31.68 and the metered rate (6,000 gallons usage) increase from $35.80 to $42.45. (water charges). Under sewers the flat rate in the Bennington area be raised from $39.39 to $54.87 and the flat rate from Rockport be raised from $34.07 to $47.46.

This local public hearing will be held in a facility which meets the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
