The Martin family is at it again and for the second year they will be hosting a wiffle ball tournament to benefit the Central Mo. Honor Flight Program. The 2nd Annual Martin Wiffle Ball Tournament will be held Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 at the Moscow Mills Ball Park. Last year the family raised, with the help of great teams and families, $4,500 for this great cause. Hoping for another great time for all ages, there has been divisions added as was suggested by teams that participated last year. This year there will be four different divisions: a family division, an adult division, and two separate age divisions for the kids. Again, this is a great way to show support for veterans and for more information about Central Mo. Honor Flight please visit them at http://www.centralmissourihonorflight.com/.

If you’re a veteran you are invited to come to the tournament at 10:15 a.m. to meet with teams and be recognized during the opening ceremonies, which will begin at 10:45 a.m. Currently sponsors for the event include: Bodine Aluminum, F & S Collusion, UBS Financial Services of Chesterfield, MO, Kaimann Auction and Real Estate, Gene Galloway, and many more to follow. Little Dipper Ice Cream will be on the grounds selling their famous ice cream and Moscow Mills Lions Club will have their food truck. In addition, there are many items to be raffled off including: Outdoor Connect Four Game, Handmade Quilt donated by the Martin Family, Fishing Basket donated by Buzzy’s Sporting Goods, Cardinal Basket, more items as the tournament approaches. Tournament T-Shirts will be for sale as well for $10.00 the day of the event. For more information on sponsoring, registering a team or volunteering please contact Sharida Mitchell at 314-392-3579 or Sandy Martin at 636-262-5449 or email them at martinwiffleball@yahoo.com. The Martin family would like to thank all the teams that supported the tournament last year and they hope everyone can come out and play again.
