Daller charged with sex crimes against three females
A two-month investigation by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in sexual charges filed against an Elsberry man.
In late June 2013, the sheriff’s office began investigating a sex offense against a 11 year-old female. The reporting party told investigators she found the victim naked with Donovan Scott Daller, 19, of Elsberry.
During the forensic interview, the victim told investigators Daller attacked her while she slept and took her clothing off. The female disclosed two additional victims, who were identified as 8 and 12 year-old females.
According to the additional victims, the sexual abuse occurred over a period of several years in an Elsberry home along the 200 block of Blake Blvd. One victim stated Daller would offer her soda for a chance to touch her butt when she was younger.
The victims stated they would try to fight off Daller during his advances.
During the interview process with Daller, he laughed at detectives when questioned about the rape and denied the accusations. Daller told investigators he could not remember much from being intoxicated and was awoken by a flashlight to his face. There he discovered the 11 year-old victim naked by his feet.
Daller is charged with a Felony Statutory Rape in the First Degree, Felony Attempted Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree, and three counts of Felony First Degree Child Molestation. He is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $250,000 cash only bond.
Those charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
