Cover Missouri unveiled a new website for consumers seeking information about the new Missouri Health Insurance Marketplace opening Oct. 1, 2013. The Marketplace, along with the SHOP Marketplace, is a website where consumers can compare and buy the insurance plan that fits his/her need, operating similarly to a travel website where individuals can compare prices or purchase tickets.
The new www.covermissouri.org is designed for individuals and small businesses to find information specific to their needs on the new health law and the Marketplace. All information on Cover Missouri is nonpartisan and fact-based, with the end goal of helping Missourians find quality, affordable health insurance.
Barker said, “You can find everything you need to know about new health insurance rules and requirements, ways to help pay for insurance, how to buy insurance, calculate your savings, and explore health insurance coverage options for you, your family, or your small business.”
