Alice Myrtle Chambers, 83, of St. Charles, formerly of Winfield, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2013

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 at the Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at the Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.

Interment will be in New Salem Cemetery near Winfield.

Funeral services for Gary N. Farrar, 77, of Wentzville, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at the Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Spring Garden Cemetery.

Mr. Farrar passed away Sept. 27, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis.

Born Oct. 31, 1935, in St. Louis, he was the son of Elmer and Hazel Farrar.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie (nee Benson), of Wentzville; sons, Mike and wife, Cathy Farrar, of O’Fallon and Ed Farrar, of Troy; two brothers, Richard and wife, Norma Jean Farrar, of Florissant and Keith and  wife, Sally Farrar, of Iowa; two sisters, Rose Roettger and husband, Gene, of Marthasville  and Margaret and husband, Jim Dolgowich, of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Jessica, Drew, Alex and Alyssa; sisters-in-law, Marion, Hellen, Loree and Willie Farrar.

He worked as a machinist.
