Winfield Warrior Pride Band places first in division at Potosi Invitational

The Warrior Pride Band traveled to Potosi for the Potosi Invitational Marching Festival.

The band placed first in the 3A division with a score of 79.750. The students were also rewarded Best Drum Line, Best Color Guard, and Best Visual Ensemble in 3A division. The band also had the highest Visual Ensemble score of the entire day for preliminaries and the fourth best score of the day.

The band was invited to perform for finals and scored an 81.00 and placed fourth overall in finals competition, a school record in both score and finals placement for the Warrior Pride Band. Also, the band won Outstanding Visual Ensemble in finals competition. This is the first time the Warrior Pride band has won a caption award in finals performance, beating out 5A and 6A bands such as Washington, Alton, and FZE.
