Denise Martin, a truck driver for Creech Companies, was one of only 12 drivers selected by the National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC) for the NASTC Drivers of the Year Award. Denise was also the only woman to receive this distinction. Finalists for this award are selected based on several factors by NASTC. Denise has been driving a truck since 2000 and has been with Creech Companies for a little over a year. She is also approaching her 1,000,000-mile accident free mark proving that it was no accident for her to receive such a high distinction.
As a member of the team of drivers selected as Drivers of the Year by NASTC, Denise will head to Nashville, Tenn., November 7-9 to attend NASTC’s 23rd Annual Conference where she will be recognized for being one of the 12 drivers of the year. Her accommodations while in Nashville will be provided by NASTC and Denise will receive cash, jackets and an array of gifts provided by NASTC and their affiliate vendors valued at over $1,500.
Creech Companies also recognized Denise for her outstanding accomplishment by giving her the first 2014 Peterbilt truck added to their fleet. The new truck is just one of the many 2014 Peterbilt trucks Creech Companies is adding to their fleet.
