Winfield has begun their Help the Hungry Fall Harvest campaign with their Hope Bags that are available for purchase. The bags are on display and can be purchased for a donation to the local Calvary Chapel Food Pantry. The Help the Hungry Fall Harvest Hope Bags campaign began on Oct. 20 and will continue through Nov. 18.

Each bag is sold at cost to customer and contains corn flakes, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, chicken noodle soup and tomato soup. All these nonperishable items will be donated once the food drive is completed, just in time for everyone who is preparing for Thanksgiving.

Country Market is planning to make this an annual event to help the community. “The holidays can be hard on many people and the community really steps up in their time of need to help everyone. We (County Market) just want to thank everyone who helps to make this year’s campaign a success,” Kevin Heminghaus, manager of County Market.

County Market is located at #11 Winfield Plaza, Winfield , Mo. 63389. Stop by and purchase your Hope Bag today!
