A graduation ceremony was held Sunday, Oct. 27 at Lincoln County Fairgrounds for students and their family. Firefighters from many Lincoln County Fire Districts attended well over 300 hours of classroom and hands-on practical training over the course of several months.

The course includes curriculum from the State of Missouri, Division of Fire Safety as well as the University of Missouri’s Fire & Rescue Training Institute. Just a few of the in-depth topics include Hazardous Materials, Fire Behavior, Fire Suppression Methods as well as live fire and vehicle extrication exercises.

All students successfully passed the course and are now eligible to attempt the Firefighter I and II State Certification Exam through the Division of Fire Safety.
