Woman seriously injured in accident

An Elsberry woman was seriously injured Wednesday evening when she lost control of her vehicle in Lincoln County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred Nov. 6 at 6:55 p.m. on Route C east of Zigl-Migl Road.

The Patrol reported a 2002 Ford Taurus driven by Pamela Ferguson, 42, of Elsberry, was traveling east on Route C and crossed the centerline. When she overcorrected, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned several times, ejecting her from the vehicle. She was not using her seat belt at the time of the accident.

Ferguson was airlifted by Air Evac Lifeteam to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.
