New Life Church collecting winter weather items

New Life Church in Troy is preparing for the winter weather by helping to collect gently used and new coats, hats, gloves, and scarves for those in need within the community. During the month of November their campaign has been going strong to help provide for the community. So far, New Life Church has nine, five gallon tubs of donated items. New Life Church will continue to collect until the end of Nov. and beginning December will be handing out their items before their church services.

“New Life Church follows three simple rules, follow Jesus, love others and serve the world. This is our way of giving back to the community and letting them know that we are here for them,” said Mike Davis, Pastor.

To donate gently used or new items drop by Bonfils Auditorium, located at 951 West College Troy, Mo., before service between 9 and 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. During December, members of the community who are in need of winter weather items can come to pick up before service on Sundays between 9 and 10 a.m. at Bonfils Auditorium. Everyone is welcome to stay for the service and enjoy worship.

New Life Church came to Troy in February and has been working hard to become a staple in the community. New Life Church began in O’Fallon 13 years ago and expanded their worship to the Troy area.
