Two injured in area accidents

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported two accident with injuries .

Stacy Clayton, 40, had minor injuries when her 2005 Chevrolet HHR traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a concrete culvert. This accident occurred Nov. 9 at 7:15 a.m. on Hwy. 79 south of Route C. She was not using a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Clayton was taken by private conveyance to St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake Saint Louis.

On Nov. 11 on Route 79 just north of Pike County Road 202, Travis Fessler, 26, of Foley, sustained moderate injuries when his 2007 Dodge Ram crossed the centerline and traveled off the roadway, down an embankment and overturned. Time of the accident was 5:25 p.m. He was not using a seat belt at the time of the accident.

He was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph West Hospital.
