Immaculate Conception School Old Monroe Veteran’s Day

Immaculate Conception School in Old Monroe held their Veterans’ Day recognition on Friday, November 8. Parishioners and family members were invited to join them and be recognized after Mass on Friday. Students made cards and wrote thank you letters. The ceremony included the school choir singing patriotic songs, two students reading their thank you letter to the veteran, a blessing as well as some history on the how Veterans Day was made a holiday.
