AmerenMissouri seeks change deposit determination process

Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri has filed a tariff revision along with a motion seeking a variance from a Commission rule which governs the conditions under which Ameren Missouri may require a deposit from a new applicant for electric service. Ameren Missouri seeks to utilize the prospective customer’s credit score to determine whether a deposit should be required.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than December 31, 2013, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Mo., 65102, or by using the Commission’s electronic filing and information service (EFIS).

Ameren Missouri serves approximately 1.2 million electric customers in Missouri.
