The Professional Business Women of Lincoln County held its annual Girls Night Out event on Friday, November 22 at the Troy KC Hall. Chairperson of the event, Leanna Kerker reported that over 150 tickets were sold to the event plus many more at the door that night, and over 40 amazing vendors were in attendance to make this year’s event very successful.

Ms. Kerker wanted to acknowledge and thank Troy Furniture, Peoples Bank and Trust, and Lincoln County Jewelry for once again sponsoring the event by donating prizes for the Grand Raffle. Besides the 40 plus vendors, women who attended enjoyed refreshments, Bingo, raffles, and door prizes. Fun was had by all in attendance. PBW’s Girls Night Out Event is a fundraiser with all profits directly benefitting local needs and scholarships. Ms. Kerker and her committee are already planning to make next year’s event bigger and better.

Upcoming events for PBW include their annual Christmas party, and bell ringing for the Salvation Army. PBW is always looking for new members, please speak with any member to get more information or attend the next regular meeting on Thursday, January 16 at noon at the Lincoln County Council on Aging Center on Boone Street in Troy.
