Master Gardeners’ spring seminar

Lincoln County Master Gardeners will be hosting a “Spring into Gardening” seminar on Saturday, March 29 at the Winfield High School, 3920 E. Hwy. 47, Winfield. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and classes run from 9 a.m. through 2 p.m.

Classes will include “Tree and Shrub Care,” “Birds, Bees, and Pollinators,” “Easy Peasy Flowers,” “Healthy Soils for Optimum Plant Growth,” “Square Foot Gardening,” “Bigger and Better Veggies,” “Seed Propagation,” “Native Flowers,” and the Gardening Badge for Junior Girl Scouts. All classes are taught by certified Master Gardeners and Department of Conservation personnel.
