County Market is pleased to present Winfield Intermediate School with a check in the amount of $1,000. County Market is committed to education and started the Max Dollars for Education program almost 20 years ago. Companywide, nearly one million dollars has been distributed since the program begin! As an associate owned company County Market understands the need to give back to the communities that they do business in and are happy to help area schools in the all-important task of educating the youth. The check was presented by Kevin Hemminghaus, manager of Winfield County Market, to Natalie DeWeese, principal of Winfield Intermediate School.

“We like to support the people who support us,” said Hemminghaus. “The youth are important to the future of the community and we try to help whenever possible.”

The money will be spent on classroom supplies. Recently, Winfield has been working on their classroom libraries so many new books will be purchased to provide new reading material in each classroom. “We are very grateful for County Market for their donation and also for everyone who signed up for the Max Dollars for Education program,” said Natalie DeWeese.
