Technical Center students place at Skills USA Contest
Pike-Lincoln Technical Center students attended the Missouri SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference at Linn State Technical College in Linn, Mo. on April 3- 5. Students left from PLTC early Thursday morning and spent the next three days competing and representing their school in different contests.
On Saturday, the results were announced and PLTC staff is excited about how well their students performed. Anothony Caruthers placed 3rd in the Diesel Equipment Technology Post-Secondary contest. Shane Coleman placed 1st in the Welding Technical Information Post-Secondary contest. Dominic Ferrante, a Troy student, placed 1st in the Diesel Equipment Technology contest. Dominic will be representing the State of Missouri at the National SkillsUSA Conference to be held this summer.
