Easter Egg Drop Saturday
NorthRoad Church and Woods Fort Country Club have teamed up to provide an Easter egg hunt unlike any other. On Saturday April 19, Bill Hopper is going to fly a helicopter over the practice range at the Woods Fort golf course dropping around 3,500 eggs for children. The event will begin at 2 p.m. and will also feature an adult egg that will contain a free round of golf.
NorthRoad Church opened their doors in February 2013 and after just over a year they have grown their congregation to nearly 400 members. The Easter Egg Drop is just one of many creative ways NorthRoad has found to help reach families in the area. This summer they plan on using their newly purchased outdoor movie screen that measures a whopping 35 feet by 35 feet to show free outdoor movies for the community. Their outdoor movie series will begin May 30 with the children’s baseball classic, The Sandlot.
