With the third annual Rise Above Scholarship Foundation Golf Tournament fast approaching, board members recently met to finalize plans. The flighted tournament is set for Saturday, April 26 at Woods Fort Golf Club with a shotgun start at noon. It will feature a cash pay-out with closest to the pin and longest drive competitions, as well as a chance to win a new vehicle by hitting a Hole in One. Registration fee includes golf with cart, lunch and beverages. The afternoon will conclude with an awards celebration and oral auction.

All proceeds from this tournament benefit the Rise Above Scholarship Foundation fund. The foundation was established in 2012 to assist at-risk Lincoln County graduating seniors who may have faced overwhelming obstacles and yet seek to “rise above” their situation as they look to further their education and prepare for a better future. The board appreciates the businesses and individuals of Lincoln County who have already committed their support to this worthy cause.
