Memorial services for Richard Earl (Rick) Lawrence, 61, of Perry, will be  held at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 8 2014 at Cannon Dam Opry, Perry, with Rev. Jimmy Wayne Brown officiating. Private family interment will be at a later date.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cannon Dam Opry. Services were under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home.

Mr. Lawrence died as the result of injuries sustained in a turkey hunting accident at Mark Twain Lake on May 5, 2014.

He was born April 30, 1953 in Evansville, Ind., the son of William Earl and Frances Katherine Brown Lawrence.

He was married to Marie Creech on Oct. 27, 1973 in Troy and she survives.

Other survivors include his father, William Earl Lawrence, of Troy; his mother, Frances Katherine Wells, of Warrenton; one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Alaina Lawrence, of Bowling Green; one daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Nathan Hellebusch, of Marthasville; two brothers, Donald Ray (Gina) Lawrence, of Warrenton, and Robert Earl (Lisa) Lawrence, of Vandalia; five grandchildren, Morgan Gordy, Nikolas and Ella Rose Hellebusch, and Jack and Tessa Lawrence.

Mr. Lawrence moved to the St. Charles area as a small child and then to the Troy area when he was a teenager. He graduated from Troy High School in 1971. He worked as a journeyman lineman for Ameren UE for 31 years prior to his retirement.  He and his wife, Marie, enjoyed coming to Mark Twain lake and purchased a home here in 1993 with retirement in mind and spent as much time as possible here until they moved permanently in 2008.  He was Christian by faith and became an ordained minister in 2003. He was a member of the IBEW Local #2 and the Mark Twain Hookers Bass Club.

Denise M. Pestka-Worley, 58, of Troy, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 at her residence in Troy.

Denise worked as a dispatcher for an alarm company as long as her health permitted.

She is survived by her father and his wife; her husband; her daughter; four grandchildren: one brother;  four sisters and many other relatives and friends.

Shirley M. Terbrock, 81, of Fenton, died on Saturday, May 3, 2014.

She was the loving wife of the late John F. Terbrock; devoted mother of Daniel (Melanie) Dunay, Troy (Bridget) Terbrock; cherished step-mother of David (Kim) Terbrock, Judith (Scott) Lindauer and Teresa (Mike) Hasenzahl; treasured grandmother of three.

 

Mary “Bonnie”  W. Trebilcock, 68, of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at her residence.

She was born on Dec.  16, 1945 in Maryland Heights to Roy and Loretta (Ziegler) Stout.

After attending the local schools, Mary met and later married George Trebilcock. The couple was married on October 16, 1967, in Overland. To this union were born two girls: Stephanie and Michelle. Taking care of her family was very important to Mary and she did an excellent job at it. For over 15 years, she ran a daycare out of her home.

She is survived by her beloved husband George Trebilcock, of Winfield; two daughters: Stephanie and husband, Vergil Apollo-Diaz, of Troy and Michelle Trebilcock, four grandchildren, one brother, Michael Stout; one sister; Julie and husband, Ken Helfrich, of the state of Washington and many other relatives and friends.

Raymond Leroy Ware, 87, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at his residence at the Trojan Villa in Troy.

He was born on April 16, 1927 in Altamont, Kan. to Joseph and Bertha (Westervelt) Ware. Raymond was blessed to have three siblings: one brother and two sisters. After attending the local schools, he married his childhood sweetheart, Lela Wallingford on July 8, 1948 in Altamont. To this union were born two children: Larry and Linda.

Raymond and Lela Mae worked hard to support their family, farming for a number of years while living around Altamont and Independence, Kan. Raymond and his brother had a custom harvesting business and Lela and her sister-in-law cooked all their meals for them. He was also a self-employed over the road truck driver and then later worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a truck driver.

In 1995, Raymond and Lela Mae moved to Summerfield, Fla., where he worked as a caretaker of the EBM Missions Grounds. In recent years they returned to the Troy area where Raymond helped his son, Larry, with his farming operations.

Raymond and Lela Mae were faithful members of their local church, the Troy Bible Holiness Church. At the time of his death, Raymond was a board member, and had also served on the Board of Trustees of the Bible Holiness Church in Independence, Kan., as well as the Troy Holiness Camp Board.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lela Mae Ware, of Troy; his son, Larry and wife, Martha Ware, of Troy; his daughter, Linda and husband, Robert Schaper, of Odessa, Mo; five grand-children, twelve great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. at Troy Bible Holiness Church in Troy.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. – Troy Bible Holiness Church in Troy,   Rev. Gary Jackson officiating.
