Home burglarized on Mother’s Day

On Sunday  (Mother’s Day), the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 600 block of Highway A, in Hawk Point, for a home burglary. The victim arrived home in the evening to realize his home was broken into and noticed his 20 gauge shotgun and .22 Ruger handgun were gone.

The victim’s neighbor caught the burglar on their surveillance equipment. According to surveillance, a white male, driving a white single cab Ford pickup with an eight foot bed bearing a Missouri license plate, arrived at the residence around 1:30 p.m. and left about 15 minutes later.
