The Relay for life had another successful year. Many volunteers, caregivers, survivors, friends and family gathered at Clonts Field to celebrate the survivors and to remember loved ones who lost their battle. There were 33 teams and over 300 participants at Lincoln County Relay for Life. Lincoln County raised over $100,000 to go towards fighting cancer.
Each year survivors start the Survival Walk, an inspirational time when survivors are invited to circle the track together and help everyone celebrate the victories they’ve achieved over cancer. Relay for Life also recognizes and celebrates caregivers. These individuals give their time, love, and support to friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers who face cancer.
