The Troy Kiwanis club will be hosting their Annual Walk with a Child Dinner Auction on Oct. 13, 2012. All proceeds will go towards the children of Lincoln County and raising funds to purchase an OAE (Otoacoustic Emissions Hearing) instrument for Troy R-III Early Education Center. More than 830 children will be impacted this year. The OAE will provide high quality, up-to-date hearing screenings during annual developmental screening is for all children from birth to age five living in the Districts boundaries free of charge.
The Troy Kiwanis Club would like to thank the community and local businesses that have contributed in the past. The silent auction starts at 6 p.m. and the dinner starts at 7 p.m. The Oral Auction will follow dinner and start at 8 p.m. Members from the club will be collecting donations for the auction in the following weeks.
