Enroll in a new experience, Tae Kwon Do and Karate at Ultimate Fitness Plus

Beginning the first week in October, Ultimate Fitness Plus will start their new set of classes. Sign up for Tae Kwon Do and Karate Classes to boost your confidence and protect yourself.

Each class will start at the basics and work their way up to advanced techniques. Learn about discipline and respect while possessing the skills to defend yourself against not only one, but multiple attackers.

Classes are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m., starting on Oct. 3. More classes will be added as participation increases. Every three months those who are enrolled in the class will be able to show off their new skills and attend the Belt Rank Tests to advance in the class.

Teaching the class will be Dale Maxwell, owner and operator of Ultimate Fitness Plus. Maxwell was awarded a Third Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in 1981 at the World Tae Kwon Do Headquarters in Seoul, Korea, and also holds Degrees in other forms of Martial Arts. Maxwell holds an International Referee License with the Amateur Athlete Union (AAU), was a Central States Championship for over two years in Full Contact Karate, and held the Missouri State Championship for two years in Full Contact Karate. Maxwell has also taken his experience all the way to fight the World Tae Kwon Do Champion in 1983, in which he won the TKO in the third round in Seoul, Korea in 1983.
