The quarterly general membership meeting of the Lincoln County Historical Society is open to the public and there is no admission fee, when they present “Historic Churches of Lincoln County,” Thursday, October 18 at 7 p.m. at Zion United Church of Christ, 725 South Main Street in historic downtown Troy.

Congregations which were formed prior to 1900 are invited to be a part of the evening’s presentations by bringing a display (each church will have an eight foot table for their display) celebrating their particular church’s history. We encourage churches to be creative in their displays and if you need an electric plug, be sure to let us know. Reserve a table for your congregation by contacting Mary Anne Kemper 650 Second Street, Troy, Mo., 63379, or call 636-528-7562.
