The Troy Rotary Club hosted its first Backyard Brews and Vino on October 4, 2012.
The event hosted local breweries, wineries, food and distributors from around the Lincoln County area. The tasting started at 4 p.m. at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in the pavilion and ended around 8 p.m.
The featured samplings were provided by: Bat Creek Brewery, Schlafly, Rock Bridge Brewing Company, O’Fallon Brewery, Six Row Brewing Company, Iron Cross Liquor and Glacier Distributors which brought, Stone Hill Winery, Woodchuck Hard Cider, American Patriot and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale to sample.
Local dining was offered. Imos Pizza, Chihuahua’s Mexican Restaurant and My Three Ladies wine Haus provided food for the event.
