WWII veterans: come tell your story at Coffee Talk

There is something special occurring at an upcoming Veterans’ Coffee Talk in Troy.

During the Veterans Coffee Talk, a special invitation is extended to all WWII and Korean War veterans Nov. 8, and especially to those who have attended the Honor Flights to Washington D.C.

There is a new effort being put forth by citizens associated with Honor Flight:  they want to talk to as many WWII vets as possible;  get their stories, pictures, and get what ever information pertaining to WWII  they can to preserve and honor each person that helped keep our country free. At the Nov. 8 coffee talk, Roger Kiesey will be giving this information to veterans. Also at this meeting there will be distribution of the special veterans’ journal that Jan Bettencourt has freely spent her time and effort to complete for every willing veteran.
