MoDOT contractor postpones lane closures until Tuesday

Due to weather conditions, MoDOT’s contractor, Iron Mountain Construction, has postponed the installation of temporary concrete traffic control barriers until Tuesday, November 6 at 9 a.m. There will be temporary north and southbound passing lane closures to install the barriers which will be used during pier construction to protect the workers and equipment in the median.

The barriers, which will be placed on the median shoulder, will not change lane widths, but will likely take up most of the median shoulder. Please obey all road construction signs and use extra caution while traveling through the work zone.

All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map. Those traveling and commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones. MoDOT also offers e-update messages sent directly to your email when roadwork is scheduled.
