In September of 2011, a community grassroots initiative of concerned individuals and organizations united together to educate our community on substance abuse issues that impact our citizens daily.

With the creation of the Drug/Alcohol Reduction Team, DART works under the mission of educating all citizens of Lincoln County about substance abuse trends that negatively attack our community.  Their vision is to strive to eliminate substance abuse use in our community.

In the past few weeks in Lincoln County there has been several heroin overdose deaths, as well as  one of the largest Meth Lab busts in history  of the county. These issues not only affect a select few, but affect the entire community, young and old alike.

To that end, DART has organized a Political Roundtable event, whereby community leaders, stakeholders, and local, State, and Federal elected officials, are invited to see what DART is actively doing in Lincoln County, and what are future mission, vision, and needs are.

The DART Political Roundtable will be held at Bonfils Auditorium at 200 Buchanan Street in Troy Missouri on November 28 beginning at 9:30 a.m.

This event is open to the Public.
