Samuel Salvatoria Cambiano, 71, of O’Fallon passed away on November 19, 2012. He was born on September 5, 1941 in St. Louis, Mo.
Samuel was a carpenter.

Ila Ovene Donley, 88, passed away on November 24, 2012. Ila was born on October 31, 1924 in Barat Haven, Dardenne Prairie, Mo.
Ila was a homemaker.

A Memorial Service for Margaret Lucille Fisher, of Elsberry, formerly of Colorado, will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry with Rev. Paul Garven officiating.
Ms. Fisher, 93, passed away Sunday morning, November 25, 2012 at the Elsberry Health Care Center near Elsberry. Born October 3, 1920 in Elsberry, she was the fifth child of Oscar and Kathryn “Kate” Krieg Hobbs. She was a 1938 graduate of Elsberry High School. After graduating from high School, she moved to Colorado and attended cosmetology school. She was employed for many years as assistant manager at Walgreens in Denver, CO, retiring in 1994. She returned to Troy, in 1999 where she lived until she entered the Elsberry Health Care Center in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Kate Hobbs; two brothers: Taylor Hobbs and Battie “B.T.” Hobbs; four sisters: Winona Taylor, Doris Downing, Norma Brownfield and Barbara Brown.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of the service at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Mrs. Gloria June Haney, 77, passed away Tuesday morning, November 27, 2012 at her home in Elsberry, Mo. Born December 18, 1934 in Oakland, CA, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Drake. She was united in marriage on March 2, 1963 in Castro Valley, CA to Joseph Edward Haney. This union was blessed with six children: Michael, Alan, Kevin, Bonnie, Kerry and Deborah. She worked as a secretary for Lockheed, retiring in 1994.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Deborah Lynn Haney in 1973; three brothers: Bob, Norman and Jerry Drake; and one sister, Fran Lannon.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 49 years, Joseph Haney, of Elsberry; three sons: Michael Haney and his wife, Okie, of Newport News, VA, Alan Haney, of San Pedro, CA, Kevin Haney, of Scottsdale, AZ; two daughters: Bonnie Haney-Cox and her husband, Tom, of Warrenton, Mo., and Kerry Barham and her husband, Mike, of Temecula, CA; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves other relatives and friends.

Albert L. Pease, 73, of Wentzville, passed away on November 24, 2012. He was born March 3, 1939 in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Albert was in the field of finance.

Paul J. Rodgers, 90, of Silex, Mo. and formerly of O’Fallon, Mo died Thursday (11-22-12) evening at his home near Silex.
Paul was born November 19, 1922 near McGee, Mo., a son of William Jesse and Leota Bell Payne Rodgers. He married Shirley Ferguson on Nov. 5, 1945 in Klamath Falls, Oregon and Shirley died Nov. 20, 2009.
Paul was a graduate of Zalma, Mo. High School, where was a member of the basketball team that won the Missouri State Championship in 1940.
He was an Army Air Force veteran of WWII, serving as an airplane maintenance technician in the Bismarck Archipelago, the southern Philippines, New Guinea, Luzon and Per Go.
Paul was employed as a master carpenter by Carpenters Local 1008 in Louisiana, Mo. for 57 years before retiring. He enjoyed woodworking and wood carving and helping his family and friends with their carpentry projects.
Paul and his wife, Shirley, were charter members of Calvary Baptist Church in O’Fallon.
Survivors include a son, C.J. (Joan) Rodgers of Wellsville, Kan., a daughter, Shari (James)
Carnahan of Silex, six grandchildren, Vicki Lynn (Ross) Muth, Teresa Lynn Elliott, Kevin Rodgers, Trinity Dawn (Matthew) Taylor, Andrew Lee (Jennifer) Carnahan and Dayne Edward (Tiffany) Carnahan, twelve great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Wanda Rodgers of Advance, Mo. and several nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, an infant son, Dana Wayne Rodgers, a son-in-law, Ron Adams, two brothers, Floyd Rodgers and Alba Rodgers and a sister, Alma Estes.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday (11-28-12) at 10:00 a.m. at the Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill, Ill. conducted by Bro. Don Hannel. Burial, with military honors, will follow at the Perry Wells Cemetery near Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Martha L. Urani, 93, of Bowling Green passed away November 24, 2012 at the Moore-Pike Nursing Home in Bowling Green. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 26, at the Antioch Cemetery in Bowling Green, with Rev. Aldon Veach officiating.
She was born April 27, 1919 on the family farm in Cyrene, the daughter of William Andrew and Mary Ann Gillum White.
She married John Urani on October 25, 1941 in St. Louis and recently celebrated their 71st anniversary. He survives.
Other survivors include daughters Joan Douglas, of Troy and Paula Urani, of St. Charles; grand-daughter Danielle Osborne and husband, Steve, of Troy, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Virgil White; nephew Ronnie White; sister in law Maxine; granddaughter Honey Leigh Douglas.
She grew up and lived on the family farm until she moved into the St. Louis area after marriage where she worked as a beautician. They moved back to the Bowling Green area for the last 25 years. She enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo and was very talented at crafts, knitting and sewing. She and John enjoyed spending their winters in Texas.
Memorial may be made to the Antioch Cemetery.
Ruthann K. Wilmes, 75, of Troy, passed away Nov. 8, 2012, at Troy Manor, 200 Thompson Drive in Troy. Ruthann was born August 17,1937 in Josephville, Mo.
Ruthann was predeceased by her husband, Edgar “Ted” Wilmes, father, Andrew Wortmann, mother, Mabel Wortmann, nee Amptmann, sister, Gerry Peine
Survivors are son, Wayne (Frances) Wilmes, of Joplin, Mo., son, Kevin (Marianne) Wilmes, of Troy, son, Alan (Andrea) Wilmes, of Des Moines, IA, brother, David Wortmann, of St. Charles, Mo., brother, Donnie (Jeanette) Wortmann, of Martinsburg, Mo., brother, Floyd (Sue) Wortmann, of Madison, Mo., brother, Leroy (Joyce) Wortmann, of Moberly, Mo., sister, Susie (Norman) Schroer, of Wentzville, Mo., brother-in-law, Ralph Peine, of Wentzville, Mo., grandchildren, 11, great-grandchidlren, three.
She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Troy, and enjoyed crocheting and quilting. Ruthann was a retired desk clerk for Best Western.
Visitation was held from 3 – 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at the Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Flint Hill. Interment was held at the church cemetery.
