Debbie Lynn Brenneisen, 57, of Hawk Point, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 30, 1954, in St. Louis, a daughter of Earl and Marie (Beeman) Jones. She was united in marriage to Harold “Dean” Brenneisen on March 1, 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1985. To this union three children were born.
Debbie graduated from McCluer High School in 1973 and continued her education at Bryan Institute with her degree in Nursing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church since 2003. Debbie enjoyed reading, her favorite author was Karen Kingsbury, working word searches and crafting, especially beading. Debbie was not only known as a grandmother but as “Nana Fix It,” she would fix any toys that needed tender loving care. She was an amazing daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Debbie was a very loving, caring, compassionate, bighearted, woman, who would do anything for her family.
She is survived by her loving children, Heather Miller and husband, Matt, of Hawk Point, Nick Brenneisen and wife Melody of Cedar Hill and Amanda Short and husband, Bill of Troy; mother, Marie Jones, of Hawk Point; two siblings, Daniel Jones and wife, Rita of Milton, Kan. and Elaine Koons, of Hawk Point; nine grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Jones, husband, Harold Brenneisen, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Family and Friends were received from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home/ Hawk Point Chapel. Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at the chapel.
