Hubert “Hoot” Cochran, 74, of Moscow Mills, passed away on Saturday May 18, 2013 at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy. He was born on Nov. 15, 1938 in Koshkonong, Mo. to George and Alma (Pressley) Cochran. Carolyn Ann (Thornhill) Cook, (49), passed away in her home in Brentwood, Calif. on April 28. She fought a valiant battle against a very painful cancer for over two years. Carolyn was the daughter of Sam and Leona Thornhill, both Lincoln County Mo. natives, who moved their young family to Antioch, Calif. in 1957. They and their children have held their Missouri heritage dear to them their entire lives.
