Edward S. Kohl, 79, of Silex, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, in Corinth, Miss. He was born on May 26, 1934, in Silex to Frank and Sophronia (Leffeler) Kohl. Eddie was blessed to have seven siblings. He grew up on the family farm and this work was in his blood. He raised both crops and had livestock before his retirement in 2005. Harold J. Pisciotta, 83, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013 at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab in Troy. Norma Jean Howard, 80, of Troy, passed away on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013. She was born on Aug. 24, 1933, in Dewey, Okla., a child of Howard J. and Barbara (Conner) Johnson. Throughout her life Norma was always a hard worker, and for many years worked as a waitress. Norma was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary 8828.
