    The Lincoln County Roadrunners are getting ready to kick off their basketball season and would love your support. The local chapter of Special Olympics Missouri participates in the St. Louis Metro Area competitions starting in January, and coordinators welcome anyone who would like to compete or volunteer.       Elsberry’s cross-country teams traveled to Spanish Lake Nov. 1 for the Class 2 district race. In the boys’ race, Jack Weakly finished first for Elsberry, running 24th with a time of 19:53.     Elsberry’s varsity soccer team finished the regular season with a home game against Winfield on Oct. 23. “We scored early in the second half to take a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick by Ben Rhoades then we gave up a goal with about two minutes left in the game,” said Head Coach Dustin Robinson.
